Design of Liquid Ammonia Tank Farm’s Security Monitoring System Based on ZigBee

Abstract：ZigBee，a short?鄄range wireless conmmunication technology based on IEEE802.15.4 protocol，has advantage in its conection security，network expandabity，cost and so on. So the technologies have great application in the field of industrial control. In this paper，the system was designed that security of the liquid ammonia tank was monitored by using ARM Microprocessor and ZigBee wireless technologies. These function that real?鄄time monitoring for the process parameters，wireless transmission data and security alert was realized in this system. The practical test verifies that the system has a friendly interface GUI，and runs steadily. The real?鄄time and synchronization of transmission data conformed with the industrial demand.
